(Announcement of the first extension)

1. Pursuant to the "Regulations on the Appointment, Selection, Reappointment, and Departure of Deans and Department Heads of the University," applications are now open for candidates for the position of Chair of the Department of Accounting and Information Technology. The term for the new chair will commence on August 1, 2024.
2. Candidates must meet the following conditions in addition to holding the qualifications for associate professor or above under the "ENAct Governing the Appointment of Educators ":

(1) Majoring in accounting or a related field of information, or engaged in teaching and research related to accounting or information.

(2) Possessing communication, coordination abilities, and good relations with industry, government, and academia.

(3) Rich experience in research and teaching.

(4) Demonstrating strong enthusiasm for service and the ability to lead the entire department.

3. The term is three years and may be renewed once.
4. Candidates may apply themselves or be recommended by others. Those recommended by others must first obtain the consent of the recommended party.
5. The Department of Accounting and Information Technology was established in 1993. It offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as executive master's programs and a master's program in accounting information and legal digital learning. The department aims to encourage and guide students to broaden their horizons and absorb knowledge from different fields, cultivate students' abilities for self-responsibility, learning, growth, and adaptability, and enhance students' training in writing, expression, and communication skills. The teaching features aim to cultivate accounting professionals with expertise in both "accounting" and "information" fields to meet the trends of the times and the needs of enterprises. 6. Candidates are requested to provide their academic and professional experience, list of publications, management philosophy, and recommendation (or self-recommendation) forms, which should be sent to the Office of the College of Management, National Chung Cheng University, to the attention of the "Selection Committee for the Chair of the Department of Accounting and Information Technology," by May 6, 2024 (168, University Road, Minxiong Township, Chiayi County 621).
