Transport Information

※ Driving🚗

  • From the south on National Highway 1: Exit at Dalin Interchange (Exit 45). Follow signs towards Minxiong on Provincial Highway 1, turn left onto County Road 106, and continue for about 5 minutes to arrive.

  • From the north on National Highway 1: Exit at Chiayi Interchange (Exit 46). Follow signs towards Minxiong on Provincial Highway 1, drive for about 20 minutes, turn onto County Road 106, and continue for another 5 minutes to reach your destination.

  • From National Highway 3: Exit at Zhuqi Interchange, follow County Road 166 towards Minxiong, and follow the road signs to reach the university.

※ Air Travel✈️

  • After arriving at Chiayi (Shuishang) Airport, you can take a taxi to the university. The fare is approximately NT$400 (for detailed taxi info, refer to the taxi section).

※ Train🚄

  • If you arrive at Chiayi Train Station, you can take a county bus or taxi from the station to National Chung Cheng University. The taxi fare is about NT$300.

  • If you get off at Minxiong Train Station, head to the Minxiong Senior Citizens Center and take a county bus towards Chung Cheng or Nanhua University.

※ Bus Services🚌

  • You can take U-Bus, Kuo-Kuang Bus, or other bus services to Chiayi Train Station, and then take a county bus or taxi to the university (taxi fare is about NT$300). Currently, United Bus services provide direct routes to the campus.

The university has signed an agreement with Meihua and Lantan Taxi Services. Below are the key details:

  1. Fares: From the campus to Minxiong Train Station, it's NT$150 during the day and NT$170 at night. To Chiayi Train Station, it's NT$320 during the day and NT$350 at night. To Shuishang Airport, it's NT$420 during the day and NT$450 at night (all fares are one-way). Daytime is from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and nighttime is from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

  2. After calling a taxi, you may not refuse the service or switch to another vehicle, as this causes a loss for the taxi service.

  3. Taxi booking numbers: 2247715, 2257715, 2257670.

  4. Complaints: Call 2237722 for any complaints or concerns.
